Measuring results
Cart Recovery → Overview is built to answer two questions: how many carts are you losing, and how much did the reminders win back?
The tiles
- Abandoned carts and Recovered carts — counts, with a 14-day trend.
- Recovered revenue — the hero number: the value of every cart that was completed through a recovery link. Large figures compact to “$1.2M” with the exact amount on hover.
- Recovery rate — recovered ÷ abandoned.
How attribution works
A cart counts as recovered only when the shopper follows the link in a reminder and then completes the order in that session. It’s attributed to the step whose link was used. A customer who comes back on their own and buys isn’t counted — so the number is conservative, and it’s real.
Conversion and engagement by step (Growth and Pro)
Below the tiles, Conversion by step shows recovered carts and revenue per step, and Engagement by step shows sends, opens, clicks and conversions for the last 90 days — split into A and B where a step has two subject lines, with the winner marked.
A caveat the plugin states on screen rather than hiding: opens are an upper bound. Apple Mail Privacy Protection and some corporate gateways pre-load images, which registers as an open. Clicks and conversions are the reliable numbers.
Per cart
Open any cart from the Carts screen and the timeline shows each step: when it was sent, which subject variant, when it was opened and clicked, and which one converted.
Export (Growth and Pro)
Export CSV on the Carts screen downloads the current view — filtered or not — for a spreadsheet.
